Last June, Aslan Brewing partnered with Patagonia to create a beer using an interesting, innovative grain called Kernza®, a lager-style beer. Read about it here. Today the Brewers Association released its Annual Craft Brewing Industry Production Report showing that jobs, on-premise sales, and the number of operating craft breweries continue to grow. Seattle Hospitality Group (SHG) has acquired a definitive controlling interest in Fremont Brewing. The move brings two iconic Seattle breweries together under the SHG roof. Pike Brewing joined forces with SHG in 2021 (reported here). Fremont Brewing Company will continue operations without interruption or outwardly noticeable change, as Pike Brewing did three years ago.
