I know, I know. Christmas is over. And what in the heck is a Wishmas tree? It’s our family’s way of thinking of other people. I started this years ago with our kids because this is quite the season of asking for things for ourselves, ya know? So I came up with the Wishmas tree to ask for things for others instead. The bar decor is coming along, and I’m having fun finding creative ways to display things we love! Two things we love: Proper Twelve Irish Whiskey (him) and candles (me). So I melted those two things together (literally) and came up with some candle bottle decor that I love. Melted candle supply list: Green bottles (shocker) I love the look of green bottles with candles, so it’s fortuitous that Proper Twelve is so cool-looking! I’ll admit it. I was ignorant about Berlin, Germany. I guess I just pictured the Cold War and thought it wouldn’t be something I’d enjoy. Boy was I wrong! So wrong, that I wish we could’ve spent more time there. I love it when I visit a place that is not only beautiful, but also offers up a history lesson that I didn’t realize I needed. We only visited for a day, and it was perfection. The weather was spot on, and we were able to wander through the city to discover all that it had to offer. Yup! A corkboard wall. As you may know, travel has become a huge part of my life, and I was running out of space to appropriately display my memories from my trips. I used a “dead wall” in my office and decided to jazz it up! By dead wall, I simply mean it isn’t really seen by guests (therefore, it doesn’t matter if it’s not particularly tidy), and it was a space where I didn’t really have room to do something with furniture.
