If any of you are looking for a beautiful book, you need to get the book This Is Home!!! It teaches you of the art of simple living.  That all of our homes are a reflection of what is inside of us, and they should feel like us!!  Our homes are gifts - not only for ourselves, but to others and should be shared.  What would the world be like if we didn't share with others?  We all have something very special to offer, and each one of us is unique!! Love this quote out of the book: "There are few words as evocative as 'home'.  It conjures visions of our ideal sanctuary ..read more

I have been working on a few very fun projects this past year.  Homes that are truly felt, and not over thought.  I love my job as a designer, because I get to work and create with wonderful people.  They become my nearest and dearest.   I learn everyday that we are all creators, and that we need to be creatin ..read more

I have been so slow in posting the past few months.  The last few years, my focus has been on my autistic son who has brought so much joy into our home.  Focusing on the small and simple miracles he does each day -- has brought a new found form of gratitude into my heart, reminding me that life is a beautiful mess!   To those of you out there experiencing raw, life challenges... remember to be grateful daily, and look to serve and love those around you!  That is true happiness, and it will give the power to pull you out of the dark lulls of life! much joy and happiness t ..read more

Living Simple...
Décor de Provence

One of my favorite quotes from Confucius: ' Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated' When I approach design, I have to be centered.  I have to be in a place where I can feel...  that is when I can stay true to my client and I'm able to draw off their energy and how they experience life. Design is a moment to moment process - creating spaces that celebrate the simple things in life. Getting back to the basics... editing possessions so that one can retain what is useful and beautiful.  Then one can create an environment that is calm, easy and unpretentious ..read more
