This is the last episode about Chapter 1 of the book Intuitive Eating rev 4. The focus of this episode is various things that have been found to promote or interfere with intuitive eating. (pages 10-17 of the book).
In this episode I reflect on how these factors have be present in my past, my present, and in my role as a parent.

In this episode, I started my exploration of Chapter 1 of the Intuitive Eating book (revision 4).
Some of the questions I explored are:
What does it mean for an eating style to be adaptive?
How does my past experience with dieting compare to what is found in research to be true of intuitive eaters?
How am I challenged with regards to interoceptive responsiveness?
What can we learn by looking at how the principles break down into those that support interoceptive awareness vs though the remove obstacles to interoceptive awareness.

After being on my intuitive eating journey for almost 2.5 years, I'm feeling ready to read the official intuitive eating book and reflect on it.
