It’s been a loooong time since I joined the T group at The Altered Book Lover with a drink and a life update. I’m sharing my Coffee, and some cards I made yesterday, and a small confession. Confession first = every time I have to get my blood drawn and fast, I eat something I shouldn’t afterwards! This time it was a sausage, egg and cheese biscuit, home fries, and coffee. I tried to put in half the creamer while driving and you can guess what happened to the other half… yup, spilled all over the passenger seat. On an up note, the breakfast was well worth the cheat I made this card for my ni ..read more

It’s been a long time since I joined in on This Weeks Smiles at A Stich in Time. The idea is to share something on Friday’s that you have been working on and something to make you smile. I created a mini album based on the video by Pinkstrawberryz (see below) in a Fall theme for a swap partner on Swap-bot. I used Stampin’ Up! designer series paper from the Autumn Spice pack for the album, and added a tag, journaling spots, and some embellishments inside. This was fun and easy to make, and would be a nice memory keeper for any occasion. I’m also joining in at the Craft Rocket Challenge wher ..read more

I’m late to the T party today at the Altered Book Lover! My drink of choice is not a hot one today since it’s still 90′ and I’ve broken a sweat 3x’s already and it’s only 4:30pm. I had a small glass full of Green Goodness by Bolthouse Farms, and I’m pleased with the flavor. You can definitely taste the fresh fruit, especially the green apple. The Chardonnay I plan on enjoying soon with dinner. I wanted to make sure I played with all the stamps from the New Stampin’ Up! set “clever cats” and found the perfect challenge to enter at Beyond the Blue. This weeks challenge is to make a card with on ..read more

The theme at Thursday’s art date with Rain is to create with rough texture. I combined this challenge with Tag Tuesday’s challenge to use seashells this week. My tag was created with a sand paper background. The crab is a jolee’s embellishment, and the silver piece was a clip on earring. I added a real shell, a rubber stamped shell as well as a shell brad along with a few other embellishments to complete. ~Enjoy your evening ..read more

Hello everyone, and Happy T day to the gang at the Altered Book Lover. It’s been some time since I posted, but I’ve been creating with this new set called “Clever Cats” from Stampin’ Up and thought I’d share what I made. I wanted the cat to appear like he was flying over the moon and saw this fun A2 Twisted Easel Card, video by Ladybug stampin and was inspired to give it a try. I ended up having to do the diagonal backwards to get him to fly in the right direction, but I think it turned out cute! The witch hat is from the Bear Ware 2 set sold by Ellen Hutson. I added a pumpkin ribbon, gold s ..read more

Sometimes you just need to buy a new stamp set to get your “mojo” going again! When I saw this new set called “Clever cats” by Stampin Up, I knew I had to have it. The cat looks just like my Mojo when stamped in black. I started wondering what else besides a broom the cat could sit on, and that’s when I remembered my Tim Holtz Santa’s Helper little elf die. I just chopped off the tail of the hat for both cards, and on one I added a birthday hat from Ellen Hutson’s Bear Ware set. Trick or Treat Mojo the wonder cat The Cat’s Meow I’m currently working on another card with this cat for Halloween ..read more

It’s been several weeks since I took a picture of my desk and shared What’s on my work desk, so here it goes! A rubber stamp that I didn’t use, yellow ribbon, scissors, punches, tape, lot’s of glue, garbage scraps and ink. I did just complete a card for the AAA Cards Challenge to make a black and white inchie. I combined it with Every Inchie Monday’s challenge to make an inchie moon. I also made a card for my great niece who is turning 2. I used the challenge from AAA Birthday to use patterned paper and the sketch challenge from Sunday Stamps And wisdom, scripture, or thoughts to ponder ..read more

It’s Tuesday, so I’m sharing my post with you and the gang at the Altered Book Lover. My drink of choice this week is a Coffee to go from Roast Riders in Virginia Beach. Hot coffee with almond milk to go from Roast Rider. Still cold and rainy. I made two pockets and tags out of 6 x 6 paper for a swap partner on Swap-bot. You can watch the video that inspired this super easy craft HERE. My partner said she’s working on a Shabby Chic Christmas and a vintage Christmas junk journal, so I thought I would make them to go with her theme. I used a vintage Christmas card front for the shabby pocket and ..read more

T stands for Time to mail out your Valentine’s! I’ve made a few more for friends and family to share with you and the “T” group at the Altered Book Lover. My drink of Choice this time is the new Pistachio Latte from Starbucks. I don’t like my drinks too sweet so no added sugar or whipped cream to mine, just almond milk. I enjoyed the subtle nutty, and buttery flavor. Starbucks Pistachio Latte with Almond Milk And a few more inchie Valentine’s to share with you too: I’m entering this one at Just Us Girls, where the theme is “Valentine” as well as Inkspirational where the theme is Hearts.
