The Final Curtain I wish to thank everyone who has been kind enough to visit my site, especially those that have reached out to me and those I responded to. Some of you have been with me from the early days of this site and many more have discovered this since. This year has seen a heartwarming and encouraging number of people who visited the site, interacted with me, and created figures that equaled the previous highest year of traffic to the site. So I part on a high note and thank you all. However, all good things appear to come to an end, and It’s time for me to move on as my life continue ..read more

Another transition
Finding Sophie a story of M-F Transition

Life continually moves on and we adapt to the changes we find ourselves in, sometimes the changes are what we invite and bring into our reality. And that is exactly why I am writing this. Clearly, there have been many big shifts in all of our lives since early 2020 and we have had to be strong and focused to weather them all. I have observed how many people have not managed so well, while others were able to rise above the forces directed at us.  So, this is based on my personal take of life, it applies only to me, but perhaps for others too? I have always been a creative soul, plunging i ..read more

So, you want to change the world?
Finding Sophie a story of M-F Transition
by Sophie

I wish to begin by stating that it is not the world that needs changing, it is us who need to change! This is something that is so very long overdue in our time and on this earth. What the world really needs right now, is for us to change. That change can only begin from deep within each one of us. On a level that many people are not aware exists, or have connected with inside themselves. We can quickly begin to see the immense task that stands before humanity, to bring about this much-needed degree of change. Don’t give up before you begin The enormity of what needs to be overcome can easily ..read more

Living – the drug of life
Finding Sophie a story of M-F Transition

Do you remember when life was so magical when you were a child? How every day you could discover something amazing when simple things appeared to be so magnificent. When our imagination and perspective of the world was only the limit of our own mind. So much was just waiting to be found and experienced. In case you hadn’t realised the world in many ways is still the same, magical, amazing and so beautiful and wonderful. Life, nature, and all that exists! It is easy to understand how we have changed since childhood, as it is ourselves that are affected by what we consider to be our understandin ..read more

The darkness of fear – the ultimate power
Finding Sophie a story of M-F Transition
by Sophie

If we can understand the potential, power, impacts and effects that fear can create in all of us we have a greater chance of avoiding suffering and being a victim of fear, and able to understand the causes and signs. I write in the belief that this can empower many others. Fear, a trilogy – part 3 Since I have been writing about a wide range of topics around personal health, growth and development, I have entered into a lot of research so that I can learn more about the topics that appear in my thoughts. Over time, there has been an aspect that keeps entering into the conversation I ..read more

Fear, a trilogy – part 2
Finding Sophie a story of M-F Transition
by Sophie

Most of us have a desire to improve ourselves, but we may have been limited by our circumstances of life from the moment we entered this world. By the social standing, wealth, connections, family and history of our parents and pressures from society and external sources. Perhaps we may start life pretty low on the invisible ladder of life that we find ourselves emerging into and growing older but not necessarily wiser. Can we let go of what we think we believe? I have grown aware that there are two things in life that are not automatic attributes to any single person, no matter how high up or ..read more

Fear, a trilogy – part 1
Finding Sophie a story of M-F Transition

The perception of a threat or danger can create a sense of Fear, something that can easily be observed in nature. In order to not be eaten by another, nature has provided many ways to avoid that as far as possible. Camouflage, vivid colouring, spines, and more that can create an illusion of danger or threat to deter another from attacking or eating it, through what may well be an evolutionary process. What is holding us back? I will describe what I feel can be a liberating concept of who and what we are, and our individual capabilities. However we perceive ourselves in terms of our sexuality i ..read more

An addicted world
Finding Sophie a story of M-F Transition

Becoming the ideal consumer This is not about sex and drugs and rock and roll, they have been discussed quite enough in relation to addiction, I wish to look at another and lesser-discussed aspect of addiction in the world and possibly more serious an issue. To be classed as an Addict requires an acceptance that a person has acquired a dependency upon something internal or external, or perhaps both. Something that our body and or mind perceives that it needs in ever-increasing quantities that our body cannot provide to satisfy, stop or prevent a craving. It can lead to extremes where the perso ..read more

A life of infinite possibilities
Finding Sophie a story of M-F Transition

I feel it’s fairly safe to assume that most people can relate to something abstract, such as being at the crossroads of a point in their life. A term with a number of interpretations that may all be valid and justifiable. However imagine if you can, that those crossroads are not just where two roads cross but an intersection with so many routes leading to and from it that is impossible to perceive or count them all! Because that is what life presents to us every second of every day of our lives. If you’re finding that a tough concept to take on board right now, I encourage you to stick with me ..read more

The power of silence
Finding Sophie a story of M-F Transition

Six ways silence can be used: Build trust, Emphasise a point, Negotiate, Empower others, Get answers, Centre yourself When we choose not to talk or not to speak out, we are taking a step in communication that is more powerful than speaking. Silence has a power that generally goes unnoticed unless we find an uncomfortable quiet when we are expecting conversation. That is a clear example of the impact of silence that can force us to be vocal, speaking out when perhaps we should stay silent We may remain silent but we can show you if you’re paying attention The moment that we speak is quite stran ..read more
