Episode four of the Left A Few Out There podcast brought a chance to talk to European Tour and Challenge Tour player Chris Hanson. Chris is set to launch a new mini tour in the North of England next week – the 2020 Pro Tour – and I met up with him to discuss it.
We talked about Chris’ 2019 season and looked ahead to how he might figure out playing in 2020 while trying to organise over 20 events across the calendar year.

Golf deserves a list of the most exciting young players in the world, and this is the Left A Few Out There attempt at doing so.
Having watched hundreds (maybe thousands?) of rounds of golf, studied leaderboards, gauged the opinions of others, read everything that I could, reviewed data and then picked through it again, I’ve tried to get a balanced, fair and global understanding of who has the potential to take on the best golfers in the world over the next 12 months.

The idea of #WinnerStaysOn is relatively simple. There is a champion, and each time he plays a round of competitive golf on the PGA or European Tour he defends his title against his playing partners.
Lowest score wins.
A Military Tribute at The Greenbrier, Sept 12-15
Initial champion: Bryson DeChambeau (highest finisher from 2018-19 season playing in the event)
Round 1: Bryson DeChambeau (c) – 68 | Keegan Bradley – 67 | Scott Piercy – 69
A pretty incredible bogey-birdie-bogey-birdie finish got Bradley to a 67, and a single shot victory in the first round of the year.
