These Eggless lemon bars are delicious as it looks..look at the colour, bright, punchy and certainly appetising too. I have been thinking of baking these eggless lemon bars for a while and finally made these beauties.. I found this recipe from here.. Almond rhubarb cake, baked few months ago. I know rhubarb is seasonal and basically a spring produce. Seeing on the produce section of the supermarket recently, I decided to give it a spin again.. It’s always interesting to note that delicious recipes are created when we are struck with creativity. This dhal soup is a great mix of 4 varieties of dhal cooked with mild favours kicking in from ginger and coconut milk. With winter chill still in the air, the cravings for comfort food continues. Although Dhal is a common dish in Indian cooking but trying and mixing in the flavours and keeping it slightly on a neutral tone was some thing I wanted to experiment. I betcha you will be blown away with the bursting flavours of this black chickpeas curry. A fuss free curry paste to begin with and few spices to kick in the flavour, this versatile version is a saviour for a scrumptious week day meal. I find this paste goes well with any legumes. Self saucing puddings definitely packs a punch. Just handful of ingredients to assemble and freshness bursting from the seasonal oranges makes it totally irresistible. This dessert is always popular with my boys and last school holidays we had baked it quite a number of times.What I love is the combination of a sponge cake and a smooth citrus sauce underneath. It’s hard to believe something so deliciously warm could be so simple and fuss free.

Winter is well and truly here and it’s time for us to warm up from inside with these hearty soups. Ever since we brought a waffle maker, I have been looking for a perfect waffle recipe and I guess my search is over. This spelt buttermilk waffles proves that waffles need not be always unhealthy and overly sweet to be delicious.
