Whats under my foot Put your foot down 228, a weekly linky party every Thursday. Stop by and share your quilt WIP’s, UFO’s, finishes, or any fiber arts projects. Work continues on these patchwork blocks, I don’t have updated photos though. There was a mishap while trying to get ahead. One evening after I sewed some of these blocks together I decided to go ahead and cut my backing and load it on the frame. It wasn’t until I had it loaded on the frame and ready for batting I realized it. After measuring I rolled it up to cut it to size. Apparently I got a little close to the fold in a few spots ..read more

Whats under my foot We’ve been in the new home for 6 months and I’ve just about got everything organized. The area under the open staircase was the catch all for odds and ends. and I finally tackled it Friday. My sewing loft on the other hand is about to be moved around again. Put your foot down 224, a weekly linky party every Thursday for you to share your quilt WIP’s, UFO’s, finishes, or any fiber arts projects. What’s under my foot This week I have been working overtime on my Island Batik log cabin quilt. My day to share is Feb 22nd and I realized I forgot to untick scaling in the printer settings. Some of my blocks are 1/2″ too small, here are just a few blocks I need to remake. I’m actually relieved though, because after looking at the photo just now I see the leaves are upside down. The large block is nice, but I wasn’t feeling it anyway so I will be making a ..read more
