Summer is the best time to delve into a new book! For those of us who are in college, it is typically hard to work our way around reading for pleasure. Madrid, Spain – an energetic, colorful, and vibrant city, worth visiting at least once in ones lifetime. I was lucky enough to study abroad in Madrid, and during my time there I learned how to master my way around it. In this entry, I highlighted my favorite places in Madrid. I share some of the obvious super tourist spots and the less obvious ones as well. Palacio Real This palace was home to the Kings of Spain from Charles III to Alfonso XIII. “Dude, we’re in f***ing Greece!” I swear I have never heard or said a sentence as much as my friends and I kept on repeating this one. One of the most popular travel destinations, known for its history, food, and incredible islands – being in Greece truly felt like a “pinch me” moment. We Spent 7 days traveling around the country. I arrived in Salamanca, Spain on January 15th. And although Spain is known for its incredible weather all year round, January in Salamanca did not live up to this expectation. I spent four days in this city, and boy did my thighs wish I had brought warmer pants. But aside from the cold weather, I loved Salamanca.
