I can still vividly remember the first and only pro football game I have ever attended. I was in fourth or fifth grade, and my dad had received four tickets to a Detroit Lions game. One of my favorite family traditions that we have, is to get in the car on Christmas Eve and drive around the neighborhoods looking at all the decorations and lights. To me, there is just something so magical about seeing Christmas lights. So, earlier this month we decided specifically to visit a place that had Christmas lights display. Before Shadrach and I became parents, we would go hiking as often as we could. Then, when Logan was born, it kind of just got pushed to the back burner. We forgot about how much we enjoy it. What is it about zoos that make them the perfect place for family adventures? Maybe it’s the fact that you get to see wild animals from all over the world up close. Ohhh, the dreaded snow day! I don’t know where you are, but here in Ohio, we have had quite a snow-filled winter so far. Even though there were brief glimpses of spring this past week, I know that there is still another month or so of possible snow, rain, and cold.
