This is a developing story.
Tensions between the United Kingdom and South Africa have risen since the resignation of the UK’s Permanent Under Secretary for the Foreign Office.

South Africa’s Governor-General told NewsNow that the United Kingdom “can’t treat their people right” and “don’t treat Commonwealth nations with respect”.
He accused the British government of avoiding discussions with South Africa and said that Ireland “asked for peace talks just to cause them to flop”.
This comes after the resignation of now former top UK Civil Servant, shei1kh, which FCO advisers supposedly reque ..read more

The Permanent Under Secretary for the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, shei1kh, has resigned.
In a statement this afternoon, the now former Civil Servant claimed he was ‘requested to resign’ by senior FCO advisers.
Shei1kh went on to wish the Foreign & Commonwealth Office “good luck” without him, and said that he “can’t wait to see how long it [the UK’s foreign platform] will take to sink”.
This resignation comes following the United Kingdom’s failure to enter the United Nations’ Permanent 5, with even Commonwealth countries not voting in approval of their entry.

On Sunday evening, officials from the Irish and Northern Irish governments commemorated the Christmas Rising at Parnell Square in Dublin.
The ceremony was attended by the President and Taoiseach of Ireland along with the First Minister of Northern Ireland.
The crowd was packed with prominent politicians, servicemen and women, and regular civilians seeking to remember the sullen day and the efforts that have been made to prevent another atrocity like 2/12.
A surprising figure who was also in attendance was the Archbishop of Dublin, leading a powerful prayer at the commemoration.

Last night’s unexpected resignation from the Taoiseach sent shockwaves around the country, and
most importantly in the Social Democrats. Let’s take a look at who may succeed the 80% approved
Taoiseach as leader of the Social Democrats.
Nobody saw the resignation coming last night. With his referendum paying off, the Taoiseach
seemed certain on a path to a resounding victory in the next election. It was almost as if he had
experienced David Cameron’s dream of winning the referendum and staying on to lead the country
for another while.
Yet, things went a little differently for Streibl. Despite h ..read more

While President Trump continues to insult everyone including House Oversight Committee Chairman Elijah Cummings for Baltimore being “rat infested,” son-in-law Jared Kushner actually owns rat infested apartments in Baltimore.
PETA – People for the Ethical Treatment of Animal, now has a billboard of Kushner next to a rat.
As you can see in the photo, Kushner is a “rich pest” or slumlord if you are House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, sitting on a pile of cash while a rat is next to him is holding a crumb with a caption that reads “Poor guy just trying to survive ..read more

When you follow the news as much as I do, you notice a pattern
with Republicans that leads to only one conclusion: they get together and discuss
talking points to be on the same page.
Over and over again, I see an interview of a Republican and
minutes later, another Republican is saying verbatim what the other just said. So,
either Republicans watch each other in media interviews or, memos are
circulated saying this is what you will say.
Now, a leaked memo from House Republicans shows that the GOP only cares about winning votes regardless of how many lives are lost ..read more

It takes a special kind of asshole to say “womp womp” when told about news reports that a ten year child with Down’s Syndrome was separated from her mother for crossing the border. But, that is Corey Lewandowski for you.
But as I keep talking about, political karma is knocking on everyone’s door these days.
Lewandowski was President Trump’s former campaign manager who has lofty dreams of running for Senate now that he couldn’t hook up with Hope Hicks.
As Lewandowski was set to attend a cult rally with President Trump in New Hampshire where he was expec ..read more

Ready for this? QAnon has a conference coming up and guess who are the two convicted felons that will be speaking at the event? George Papadopoulos and Michael Flynn. Luckily for us, President Trump only hires the best. The best at what, I have no idea.
Why the conference? Because poor Flynn needs money to help
pay his lawyers. I always love how rich people commit crimes and then want others
to pay for it. It’s the American f-ing way!

Regardless, Flynn’s mistake was switching lawyers, lawyers that actually ..read more
