  The Birth Story of Ella Adige. Every birth is different and unpredictable . Morgan contacted me during the Covid19 pandemic .She hired me over the phone! We did meet in person as well. She knew my long time birth and photographer expertise were what she desired .  Labor began  on the morning of August 19, 2020 we kept in touch that day and shortly after midnight August 20 I joined them in their home. I remained with them the entire  labor , birth and postpartum. She chose to transfer to St Vincent's Southside . And Baby Ella was born at 8:06 am on August 21, 2020.  ..read more

With these uncertain times due to the current pandemic our lives have changed . Everyone has been affected. Jobs lost, schools closed now until the fall.  I have been doing small photography sessions for close friends to document special times. I even participated in a VERY small church wedding at the end of March.  Like the  prom dresses your teen has and was robbed of their prom , let me freeze time for them.  Let them get all dressed up and I photograph them.  Children are still growing! Today I wanted to share a brief blog about how I do newborn sessions . I have trained online with the renowned Ana Brandt in newborn posing. I love babies and children. I am a mother to 6. I have been photographing my own children now over 26 years. I have found over the years that I need to be very flexible when it comes to a newborn session. As a past breastfeeding mother and one that did not use a pacifier I knew early on I wanted to do things different than others. I follow baby and mothers lead when it comes to a session . On St Patricks Day ( 2019) Brad and Pauline had planned their destination wedding to be at the Marin House at Vilano Beach in St Augustine Florida. Mother Nature is unpredictable here in Florida. And that day there was a strong Nor' easter. It was windy, drizzle and in the lower 50's  .  Their beach wedding was moved to the Bayfront . At the Bayfront Marin House. I seem to have fallen off my blogging wagon! My apologies , I have had a very busy year and will be slowly or quickly posting some of what I have been blessed to photograph .  Back in February I attended my first Daytona birth. It was at Halifax Hospital. With Dr Pamela Carbiener. First let me just say I was a little worried attending a birth there, I was her birth doula and birth photographer.
