I’m not sure if it’s because I’ve been frustrated with Sephora lately or if it was just that this box was kind of disappointing, but I’ve been considering cancelling my subscription. Sephora has really been killing it lately with their a la carte PLAY! boxes. These are special edition PLAY! boxes that you can buy that don’t involve a subscription of any kind. I have been buying most of them and I think I need to settle down a bit. HOWEVER. THIS PARTICULAR BOX. They listed exactly what was going to be in it and I knew immediately I needed it. I’ve been buying a lot of the special-edition Sephora PLAY! boxes, but I have to admit, the regular monthly PLAY! by Sephora this month was pretty freaking great. Sephora is really killing it with these PLAY! SMARTS boxes. They seem to be coming out monthly now, which is pretty cool. These are boxes you can buy without a subscription, but they are more expensive than the regular boxes as they tend to include bigger and higher-priced products.
