Hey,
I have a 1998 V70 wagon with 185k miles. The body is really nice, only a tiny amount of surface rust right behind the wheel wells.
I bought it awhile back with plans to restore, but I bought a 99 T5 instead, so I have to let the 98 go.
It needs new tires, exhaust pipe from the muffler back, and one ABS sensor installed. It has a torn CV boot, and the turn signal indicator only cancels itself in one direction. Otherwise it's grand. Everything else works, it runs flawlessly, new shocks/struts/timing belt/Jensen stereo/corner lights. It looks great.
KBB and Edmunds say it's worth peanuts. W ..read more

So for some context, I go to school out of state (about 150 miles from my hometown) and usually depend on someone else who is local to the area around where I live and who also goes to school with me to give me a ride back home. I actually already have a Saab 9-3 back at home but I'm letting my brother use it to get around since he's still in high school. Anyway, I've fallen in love with Swedish cars since I became a Saab owner and have always wanted to try to own a Volvo, so I figured since my mom wants me to get my own car for college, why not go with a Volvo? I was looking at 240s, 850s, S ..read more

Hi,
I have a few favourite contacts saved in my contact list which shows up correctly. However, some of these contacts have multiple numbers e.g. personal mobile, work mobile, work landline and home landline numbers. Although I have saved a default personal mobile number for each contact, when trying to use the screen to call, it always is a 2 step process where the second screen asks which number amongst the listed ones.
Is there any way this 2nd screen pop up be avoided and the default number is the only one which shows up/gets called?
Thanks

Has anyone else noticed if their touch screen has become slower to respond after the last update? It mostly happens when trying to access the driving modes and settings.

So I have a 2015.5 S60 T5, and it could just be that I'm always hyper focused on any small issue, but I didn't notice this last year.
ever since it "warmed up" outside this year (40 - 60'F) It would seem that as soon as my car gets up to temp, the radiator fans kick on and are noticeably loud, they don't seem to be on full blast but they can definitely be heard. I didn't notice it last year, during the 80 - 95' summer even with me
driving practically the whole year with my windows down since the A/C went out at 48k miles. So call me crazy but idk.

I'm about to have my 40th birthday and I'm planning in getting a new vehicle to celebrate (will be trading my car in or my partner's).
I currently drive a 2019 Volvo XC60 (FWD) that I adore. However, I've been wanting to get an AWD. Also, planning on starting our family soon, so want a good family vehicle. And at the same time, a G-Wagon has long been my dream car.
I found a certified pre-owned G-Wagon for a fair price in great condition and around 6k miles. I also have a 2024 (new) Volvo XC60 RECHARGE Ultimate (plug-in hybrid) on the way (that I can get out of the contract from if I decide t ..read more

My parking buddy outside the gym tonight. Two models that you don’t see every day, and both underrated imho :) mine is the S60 and I love her!

Hey guys,
My 2019 Volvo XC40 started showing engine oil critical warning. I filled oil at Valvoline and three days later I saw another warning which said "Reduced engine Performance". I took the car to a local mechanic who inspected and said there's engine oil in the spark plug. He cleaned it and put it back and everything was normal. Two weeks later I got the engine oil critical warning again and took it to Volvo service center. They couldn't identify the issue and said they needed to do the oil consumption test. Now after three weeks I'm seeing the same warning and they inspected and told m ..read more
