Do you have wood cabinets, furniture or floor that you would like to change the color of, but don’t want to have to strip it down to bare wood? Fusion Gel Stain and Topcoat might just be the perfect product for you! Hi, Liz here from the Redo Your Furniture (aka Frame and Frills) workroom… just starting a new project! I have this mahogany, (or some sort of very red/orange wood) antique table that I want to use in our living room. I’d like a wood top with painted base, but the current orange woodtone doesn’t go with my color scheme and I’d love to not have to strip it all back down to bare woo ..read more

I stock the full Fusion Mineral Paint line along with decoupage, stencils and other DIY products to redo your furniture with. Getting to redo a piece of furniture with these amazing products is such a fun part of my ‘job’. I love it! I just redid this vintage dresser in yellow and grey, taking color cues from the sepia floral decoupage paper I put on the inset door panels, and wanted a bit of a weathered contrast for the top ..read more

I’ll have each product I mention in this post with a shopping link directly to my shop, Frame and Frills. At Frame and Frills, you can shop in person, or order online and pick up at your convenience, (I’m excited about the upcoming new pickup system!), or you can always have it shipped. Did you know that Fusion Mineral Paint is great for interior and exterior applications?! Yep, and it won’t fade in the sun! That combined with FMP’s amazing durability made it the perfect choice for this stenciled brick floor I just finished on our porch. Selecting the colors was a bit surprising! I was sure that Cranberry would be a main color, but when the sample paper I made was laid next to real bricks, Cranberry looked ‘cartoon-ey’ pinkish compared to the real deal. Here are the colors I settled on: I worked out of 2 paint trays, letting the colors mix on the brush and roller, but not ..read more
