Since September last year, I had read probably a grand total of five books but in March, I wanted to pick up the speed and start falling in love with reading again. It may have not been my best ever reading month but it was definitely an improvement and I also found a new favourite. So it may be a week late, but here is my March reading wrap-up! The Galaxy, and the Ground Within by Becky Chambers The fourth instalment in the Wayfarer series (a series that will forever be a favourite) and the saga ended as brilliantly as it started. There’s mix in here of both fiction and non-fiction and I’m looking forward to reading each and every one. The Joy Luck Club* by Amy Ta ..read more

This one moment of departure from her stern ex-military father’s plans for her life has Grace wondering why she doesn’t feel more fulfilled from completing her degree. Staggering under the weight of her father’s expectations, a struggling job market and f ..read more

Now that I’m back from a (very long) reading slump, I’ve begun sorting through which books I want to get through this year, and as always, I’ve been focusing a lot on including books by diverse authors about diverse characters. So this will be a start of a series to highlight these books and their amazing writers. In this part, I will be focusing on recommendations of upcoming book releases by Asian authors (in order of release!) As you will see, they are stunning to look at and I’m sure the story itself will be equally as beautiful. The Forest of Stolen Girls by June Hur  (Release Date ..read more
