I’ve spoken pretty openly about the many discussions James and I have had over wether of not our son should receive a Welsh language education. Part of both my will for him to speak Welsh and my fears all stem from the fact that I don’t speak it. Fred is off to full time school this September and will be doing so at a Welsh language school so this year I threw myself into learning. A few people on the Facebook page aid they’d be interested in knowing more so I’ve made a little video (yes.. I make video’s at totally awkward angles - let’s get that out there) but I'd love it if you’d be interest ..read more

I love clothes. However, Let’s face facts. I am not a fashion blogger-model-type-photogenic-remotely Instagram friendly kinda gal.I’m really awkward in photo’s. I barely ever apply make-up to this face. Most of the time I cannot be faffed to do my hair and so I come here to talk to you about clothes with my tail between my legs. I get it, I’m not your typical fashion post type of blogger. However, I am here. I am here because if you want to see something different you have to do something different, be a part of something different. So here goes nothing. I am busty, I carry all my weight on my ..read more

We posted over on Facebook and asked interested parties to help us select our first book and the winner was “The Woman In The Window” by AJ Finn.I was pretty happy, I must confess. I love a thriller and have wanted to get back into reading for some time so I was happy to sink my teeth into a genre I knew I would love and that would be great for keeping me interested.I tried not to do too much reading about the book before I started because I didn’t want to find any spoilers but I knew it had been very popular and was also already i ..read more

Earlier in the year I very publicly set myself to goals to work on across a broader area of my life. I’m not one for new years resolutions but things have started to shift for me. I’m no longer the mum of a teeny boy. He’s going to be four in July. He’s finally started sleeping more (Fred was never a sleeper) and well, he just needs me a little less. That season of having a baby, toddler and pre-schooler seems to have flown by in the blink of an eye. Everyone say’s it - but it does. I feel like the season I’m moving into this year allows me more time for me, a first and also more time for refle ..read more
