One year old sessions are becoming one of my favorite types of family sessions, especially when I get to try out my new travel portrait studio.   I recently had the opportunity to take Beth and Max’s Rockwood Hall engagement photos. Meet Juliette, she’s the cutest little nugget! She came a little earlier then expected so we waited a couple weeks for her Doylestown PA newborn pictures. She still only weighed 7lbs when I photographed her, which is the weight of a week-old newborn, but she was definitely more alert. I was in love with Emily and Alex’s home and their pup! Whenever I first come to a session I love to get a tour of the home so we can figure out the best spots and the best lighting. Meet Savannah! Her personality is as cute and sweet as she looks in these at home newborn pictures. Savannah’s Momma, Carrie Beth, is my roommate from college and also a past Cassady K Bride! I’m always incredibly excited to be asked by friends and past Cassady K Couples to come back and photograph their changing families. I feel like it allows me to keep in touch in such a special way. 2022 felt like it flew by and after going back through all the pictures it really did just fly on by. We technically traveled to every wedding and session (meaning we traveled far enough that we didn’t sleep back at home) except for a mini session and a wedding I helped another photographer with.
