In order to encourage more folk to go back in to the office, my Edinburgh based work have asked me to find somewhere the 4 Weegies can meet up in Glasgow for a day per week to work. Has anyone had experience of this? Any recommendations? Are hotels good for this? Bottomless coffee sounds appealing. Ta.

Does anyone here know if I’m able to use a mobile boarding pass on my phone to get on a flight at GLA or do I have to print my boarding pass out physically?

Was £2 I'm sure the last time I went a couple of years back.
Absolute joke to literally drive up someone hops in and drive off. I was there for literally 30 seconds if that.
I don't mind paying but £5.50 is quite frankly ridiculous how do they justify that? Must make more money from drop offs than anything else.
I wonder what the parking charges are like these days.

Hi There!
I've been told by my mechanic that the cost of fixing my car (Fiat Punto) outweighs the value - so we are scrapping it. Any recommendations on good scrappers who can come pick it up?
After a google search, is hard to know which one is reliable.
Thanks :)

Hi. Does anyone have any recommendations for a counsellor/psychotherapist who's also a hypnotherapist in Glasgow? I have OCD and it's really ratcheted up of late, I think due to stress, money worries, work being shit, endless winter etc etc. I know what my key 'triggers' are and I would like some help breaking the link between the trigger and the behaviour, if that makes sense. I have had some luck with hypnotherapy about ten years ago, and I'm a lot more aware of my condition, my triggers, and the roots of why I'm like this, basically, than I ever was before so I would like to go back for an ..read more

Hiya,
So I lost my mum late last year, used the inheritance to buy a flat in Govanhill after landlord doubled the rent on my old shitty flat (sewage under the floorboards, horrendous place for £1200 a month). Been here two weeks, opened an old paint tin the cupboard and found a dead one and didn't think much of it. Today found a live one in the bathtub crawling out the drain, which from brief googling means downstairs is probably fucking riddled with them. I am obviously grieving and have preexisting mental health conditions and honestly don't think I can handle a bedbug infestation. I'm losi ..read more

I'm choosing between 4 Universities to study a conversion MSc in Computer Science/Software Development. I thought I'd ask r/Glasgow about two of the Glasgow choices.
Has anyone studied either Glasgow Uni Software Development MSc or Strathclyde Uni Software Development Msc?
If so, could you give some insight into how you found the course structure, modules, teaching style, career prospects afterwards, work load, depth of learning, as well as over all satisfaction from the course ie. was it a worthwhile investment both financially and time wise. Any info at all would be much appreciated!
