Hey everyone, so I’m turning 21 in June. I know that the DMV recommends that you make an appointment about 21 days before your birthday so they can send you a physical copy before it expires. I’ve heard that if you renew before you’re technically 21 you still receive a card that has the red box around your photo that is on the under 21 ID’s. My fiancé and I are planning to go on a trip about a month after my birthday and I was hoping to drink. Do you think they’ll give me trouble out of state?
