Well, since i own some L and R lenses, i'm thinking of buying a SL2 to mount them using adapters and i have some questions: 1) Original Leica or 3rd party adapters? I own very few 6-bit coded (i know i can do the cheap pencil 6-bit trick) and ROM lenses (not worth upgrading to ROM), so is it worth to buy the original Leica just for the EXIF? 2) How good is the focus peak of the SL2? I normally use a Sony a7RII and Fujifilm X-T5 and when doing MF i usually use the magnifier to achieve a better focus, is the SL2 focus peak good with 1.2/1.4 apertures? Hi darlings, For about a year or so, I've come into possession - for a cheap price - of great Leica M's gear. I''m indeed the very lucky owner of a M4-2, a Summicron 35 V4, a Summicron 90 (don't remember the generation, I would say 2nd) and an Elmarit 135 f/2.8 (this one doesn't see much use). I really love using them, it's been nothing but a fantastic shooting experience. The form factor is fabulous, the glass' rendition is lovely - it's really second to none. Hello everyone, I have a question regarding the DNG files from my Leica Q2. When I import my DNG-format photo into Lightroom Classic, the "library" window shows a preview, which is actually a JPEG with the Leica Q2 color processing embedded in the DNG file. The look in the "library" window is therefore identical to what I saw on the camera screen when taking the shot. However, when I switch to the "develop" window, I get a neutral image without the camera's color processing (the RAW photo). Having problems with importing M246 dng files to osx Photos ap. Just got a Mac and I don't want to splurge on Lightroom yet When I import the dngc files in to the app, it comes out with a thumbnail initially then black. Doublecliking it also produces a black image. When view with a dng viewer it's fine. What could be the problem?
