So, due to a crisis I’ve had a while back I wasn’t able to pay my phone bills for a year+. I’m just now just got done paying $1000 in past due payments. I’ve tried contacting AT&T about helping me get a new number and they told me it couldn’t be done. Did I just waste my money trying to save my account?

To make a long short, I need to log in to my dad's AT&T account because his phone wont-work and I need to order him a new one. But I can't get into the account because I have to use the phone number but the phone wont-work.

I don't know why I haven't been getting good cell phone reception lately, and I kind of want to get a new iPhone 14, but brand new phones seem to be expensive. I was going to buy a used phone on Gazlle, and I saw a new site called ecobuyphone that was $50-100 cheaper than a few other sites, so I doubt it's a fake...

I recently filed a claim and paid $275 for a replacement device. Now I broke the screen on the new device, am I able to go get the free screen replacement so soon? Or is there a cooldown period.

I get this message although my devices are well over 60 days post purchase. Any work around?

I'm on the AT&T Unlimited Tablet plan ("Untraditional") and went from an LTE-A ThinkPad/22tp2txx16g) released in 2018, to a 5G one released in 2021, mainly for 5G. To my surprise, I found speeds to be comparable in the daytime, ~40 Mbps down, and roughly double at night, ~85 Mbps.
I'm a lower QCI than voice users, so the day/night difference has to be the higher QCI usage decreasing. I'm more interested, though, in why the 5G speed increase in the best-case, off-peak scenario is rather mediocre, at only double what LTE provides, and whether it has to do with the boost 5G gives to LTE as a ..read more

any one experience having call forwarding setup randomly & not by you?
I got a text notification from (288) 382-70
"Hi, it's AT&T. Calls to this number are being forwarded. Didn't request this? turn it off in your phone settings. for help, chat at att.com or call us"
I checked my call forward settings & sure enough, there was a number setup: 831-223-4850
I did some google searching & saw that its associated to a profile post on LinkedIn that was created a few years ago.
So I called the number & after a few rings, got voicemail. I left a message informing them that my phone ..read more

Can someone explain to me what exactly “AT&T Next Up(SM) - phone upgrade feature” is and why I am being charged for it every month?
I bought a new phone in Aug 2023. I didn’t trade in my old phone & I have paid 8 of 36 installments.
This is also the first time I am paying anything on my own & got confused at the AT&T store because there were two different reps telling me two different things.

I’ve beeb working in IHX for two and a half years. I’m getting transferred to another ISM. I like my job, but I would like to move up in the company. I’ve been thinking about applying for the business fiber team. Would I have to wait to apply? And if I get hired is there any waiting time on when I could start since I’m in the middle of a transfer?
