Seems like something that should be natively supported in DRF as Django seem to have gone down the path with async in a serious manner.

I'm still new to Django and I've been stuck on this for a few days... Basically, I'm trying to create a company snapshot for each ticker in the S&P 500. I have 4 tables per company, with an example view for AAPL hardcoded below, which works. In total I have 2000 tables that I migrated over from a mysql database to the models.py file, and I can't figure out how to dynamically get the 4 models that I want to get loaded to my ticker.html template for each ticker. Is there a way I can do this?
What's currently hardcoded in my views.py file:

I want to implement a project similar to OLX, Avito (using Python) but I have no experience in such projects. I'm looking for a mentor who has experience in developing these or similar projects, who can point me in the right direction and help with designing the backend of such a project. I have extensive experience working with Python (Django, FastAPI), PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch. I only need the architecture to understand where to use what, what technologies to implement, how to connect them, what microservices to develop, and so on. I only need a roadmap. I can handle the implementation mys ..read more

I am new to django and familiar with python, html, css and bootstrap type stuff etc. But as I started building the webapps, there is a need of js which I don't really wanna learn. Is there any method of using python code instead of js?

Hello everyone,
I am new to Django and DRF. I don't understand how to use serializer for read and write request.
For example, I have a model Product. I want to be able to create Product instance and save to db by just applying customer id, but I want to include customer details when I retrieve Product.
From my research, I can use two serializers: one for read, one for write. Or I can use different fields in the same serializer.
I'm not sure which is a better approach here?
Can Django experts here help to shed some light on the issue?
