A warm welcome to Andy our new Podiatrist in Chapel
Originally a dairy farmer Andy retrained as a Podiatrist earning a First Class Honours degree from Salford University.
With a passion for foot health, Andy joined Care For Feet in September 2023 and will be working at the Chapel clinic on regular Saturday mornings each month.
During the week, Andy continues to work within the NHS treating high risk diabetic patients for foot wounds as well as general treatments and nail surgery.
Andy has a keen interest in biomechanics and wishes to continue his learning in this specialist area.

Blythe House Hospicecare & Helen’s Trust are holding their first Charity Golf Day at Chapel-en-le-Frith Golf Club on Friday 20th August 2021.
The charity provides 24/7 at home patient care and family support to residents of the High Peak and Derbyshire Dales who wish to remain at home at the end of their life.
At the Community Hub located in Chapel en le Frith, they also provide counselling, physiotherapy, clinics, symptom management and carer support to anyone affected by cancer or a life-limiting illness.

We remain open!
Following the Prime Minister’s most recent announcement, 04th January 2021, regarding new ‘national lockdown’ in England, we can confirm MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS are still permitted.
Therefore, our podiatry clinics remain OPEN and we continue to provide care/home visits to vulnerable patients.
According to the College of Podiatry:
Healthcare is not affected, meaning that podiatrists can continue to work. Podiatrists can continue with home visits and treating patients in nursing homes. Patients can still travel for their healthcare needs.
