Camp Bremer 2022! Back on track from the past couple of years and the pandemic. As usual Carie & I did not go to the actual race, the Indy 500 this weekend but had a blast, as always, at "Camp Bremer". The official radio announcer for the Indy 500, Mark Jaynes signs Pat's wheel & wings! He's gotten some other famous people to sign it in the past, too.  Just a real quick blog update. We did a three week trip to SC. We stopped at a great campground in Waynesville, NC that we really like. Creekwood Farm RV Park. We cut the 11+ hour drive in half and stay here every time we go down to the Hilton Head area. The view out our bedroom window! At Lake Jasper RV Village (Campground). Another one of our favorites! Carie & I, Gina & Chris and Dawn are all considering buying a place in the Caribbean-Jimmy Buffett themed 55+ resort golf cart community of Latitudes Margaritaville, Hilton Head and we all caravanned down to a great campground basically across the street from this community.  Trying to catch up on blog posts here! This is a Oh & PA T@B & Friends rally we went to in October to Mount Gilead State Park in Ohio. Our campsite set up Gracie lounging! Around the campground and park - Gina and her new T@B! Gina and her husband Chris also have a 28' Airstream Flying Cloud but this is specifically hers! She just bought it this season!  This is always a fun time. It's Loren & Mike's anniversary and chili cookoff rally. We went on a covered bridge tour but ran out of time and had to cut the trip short only seeing two bridges. The first was fairly pathetic and the second was the cream of the crop and supposedly the best bridge on the tour. So we only saw two but they were the worst and the best. We also did a craft project which Loren conducts each year at this rally and we did cups per a different method from last year's cups.  This was a very sad campout. We had to put our beloved kitty, Callie down this weekend while camping. She was going steadily downhill from old age issues and from Thursday to Friday she just nose-dived so we made the decision to put her down on Friday afternoon. On a lighter note I used my new Swarovski binoculars and did some bird watching and saw a ton of birds right from my camp chair in our campsite. Morgan's is a fantastic place for bird watching!  We did the huge Alumapalooza 11 rally this year. Last time we attended was Alumapalooza 4 and we didn't even have an Airstream then.  This rally is a week long and held at the Airstream factory in Jackson Center, OH. There are RV and Airstream related seminars and entertainment and activities and more. At the house getting ready to leave for the rally Bought the Dometic E-Cooler. So far I love it!  Tom & Gary put on a great rally at Salt Fork State Park in Eastern Ohio between Columbus and the PA border. This park is the largest state park in the state (Not the largest campground, though) and it is known for Big Foot sightings!!! So that was the rally theme. Mike stopped by for a bit while I was working Me & Callie! I got there a few days before most and had Tom & Gary's site till they arrived and I moved to my site for the rest of the rally.  The Camp Bremer group agreed to a campout at Pat & Jennifer's seasonal site campground, Fallen Rock in Brazil, IN. I'm not usually into permanent sites but I have to say this place was very nice. It was scenic and peaceful and we all had fun.  We went to Morgan's again this year for the 4th. My fireworks pictures this year are mediocre . Lest years were better although Dirk Morgan's fireworks display was great regardless of my pictures!
