I’m restoring a 64 Globetrotter and I’d like to charge my lithium batteries while towing. I’m installing a Renogy DC to DC charger but how do I connect the d+ wire? Do I just run my Aux Charge cable to both the DC in and D+ for signaling?
I’m still going to install a switch but want to be sure it’s connected right.
Thanks for any help.

White Sands was a dream! You can bring your rig out to the dunes and spend the day. It was really chill and not busy when we went about a month ago. It’s a must do if you haven’t.The sunset was second to none.

Have a new job opportunity in central Texas that equires me to be on job site half the month. I live out of state and will be traveling for this job. Considering buying an airstream, parking it in a nearby RV park and using it for lodging while I’m there. Has full power and sewer hookup. Just one person with occasional overnight visitor to be expected. Looking thru different posts here, given where I’ll be looks like I’ll need a 2 air conditioner unit for the Texas heat. Thinking a used 25-30 foot unit. What specific things should I be looking for. What features would you recommend?

Took the kids on a bike ride on the shining sea bike path and came across what used to be a tent campground in Falmouth. Now it’s what appears to be at least 70 airstreams set up semi permanently as a$500 per night glamp experience.

Why is my insurance soooo expensive for my airstream? It’s mostly in storage. Prudential is 2600+ a year which is just ridiculous! What companies do you use?

Just drove home our first (and hopefully last) Airstream! We decided to “go-big” one time and hope that we can grow with it! Looking forward to spending some quality time with the family. Cheers airstream community! Any tips/ things to look for with this model, please share!

I am sure these questions have been asked a thousand times, but I cannot seem to find all the answers, or at least current ones.
I am in the market for a new Airstream, and whether buying new or used the prices seem to be significantly better across the boarder. I am in Alberta, and I see units of interest in Idaho, Utah and Washington State.
I understand the RIV and paying the GST at the border, but how do you "plate" the trailer to tow it back? Do you need a trip permit for each state/province? Or does any one trip permit cover the full trip?
I can't register the trailer in Alberta before I ..read more
