Nicky completes Rat Race Edinburgh Ultra

A massive thanks goes out to Nicky Hancock for completing The Rat Ultra Tour of  Edinburgh to raise money for Deaf Action’s Youth Club. The run, that starts at the famous Royal Mile, is over a grilling 57K through the City and is said to be like no other! From the 1st of November all our services currently held at Sangobeg House, Dundee will be moving! We have found a fantastic new home for our Lipreading Classes and Evergreen Club at the Brooksbank Community Centre. Located in the East of Dundee with good transport links,  the  warm and friendly hub even boasts a café serving delicious refreshments! Located in our Head Office in the heart of Edinburgh’s the city centre, we have a fantastic bar and large social area, ideal for events or community groups to meet. Currently the Edinburgh Deaf Sports & Social Club (EDSSC) holds a premises bar licence for an area within our Deaf Action head office at 49 Albany Street, Edinburgh.  However, we have requested that EDSSC transfers over the licence to ourselves (who own the building and employ all bar staff) so that we can open the space to other groups when EDSSC does not use it.
