Greenhill Farm

2024, and January, began with cold, frosty weather. I was out with the pets as often as I could be to take advantage.  Fina enjoying her breakfast.  Poppy.  I had a frosty photoshoot with Poppy.  On some days the frost never melted at all. It was on one of those days, with the frost lingering, that I took Blue Belle for a walk with the dogs. &nbsp ..read more

Once again, time has got away from me. Time for a quick run through what we all got up to in December...Poppy and Susan helped to feed the lambs.  Frost on the feeder.  We may be at work but there is always time for posing.  Susan, even in the depths of winter, has a habit of jumping into the troughs when she's been running with the quad. Poppy hasn't got in yet ..read more

I had an errand to run down by the seaside. It was a nice morning, so while I was there I thought I'd take Poppy for a quick walk. We sheltered from the wind in the entry to this beer garden. I had recently made this collar and lead for her. I hadn't made a black leather collar and lead before. On the beach it was very chilly. We paused to appreciate the view before heading home ..read more

November saw winter starting to set in. Blue Belle began the month in her little field next to her beloved pet sheep.  Penny grazing.  Flossie.  Astrid and Primrose.  Rosie, enjoying retirement. Poppy's ears, after that first dramatic flop down the previous month, continued to be indecisive. Now one was sticking out a bit.  A crisp ..read more

October Goes On
Greenhill Farm

October saw Primrose, Astrid and Tilly returned home after the summer holiday with the tips. The three of them were glad to be back. Both Astrid, and then Primrose a week or so later, had escaped from their field with the tips. I'm still not sure how, to be honest - the dry stone wall they must have gone over is very tall. Titch. Fern. Frances. Poppy continued going on adventures. I ..read more
