Well, folks. She's here! Maddie Brazell graced us with her presence 21 days early on May 2nd. She definitely heard my subtle whispers to my belly asking her to please get here soon because I was so not interested in being pregnant any longer. What an obedient baby! What I was not told was that all of the things that were uncomfortable whilst pregnant, are still some of the things that are uncomfortable now, such as sitting, laying down, standing, etc. Way to leave that information out, fellow moms. Can you believe we have been in a global pandemic for one year already? My family decided to predict "Coming Out of COVID" dates for when things would be back to normal, and so far, none of us will be correct. It has definitely be an interesting year, but in some really great ways. It's been a year of re-prioritizing, heightened creativity, learning new skills, and figuring out what is really important to us. Hey, everyone! I am SO excited to released my new single, "Bottom of the Mountain," into the world next week. I'm extremely proud of this track for a few reasons: This was the first song I wrote during quarantine last year. I recorded and mixed the entire song myself. I only outsourced the mastering, because one new skill at a time, folks. :) The only instrument I am not playing is the drums. Everything else I played and arranged!
