I am confused that on the Azure portal, it says I have 2 machines that are not Compliant. On the Intune admin center it says all device are Compliant, including the 2 that Azure says are not Compliant. What is the difference between the two? Thanks.

I have a few small clients 10 or so computers each that have single server setups. The servers are running server 2019 standard and have the following roles; DC, File, Print, DHCP, DNS. I would like to see what it would cost to move to azure. I would use the firewall for dhcp, Printing will be direct to the printers. I would like to be able to setup GPOs (if possible in azure) where the drives will map depending on group user is in.
Can someone let me know what I will need to setup in azure to accomplish this so i can determine what the costs are?
Also what are the pros and cons to this.

Hey all,
I'm working on having Defender for Cloud enabled on all subscriptions within a management group via Azure Policy. I've assigned the Initiative "Configure Microsoft Defender for Cloud plans" to my management group, then added the remediation tasks to enable the plans in the affected subscriptions. I'm noticing all the coverage isn't enabled at that point. It looks like Defender for API is missing from the policy, and Containers, Servers, and Databases are showing as "Monitoring Coverage: Partial". Am I missing something?
Servers - The only coverage missing is the Log Analytics agent w ..read more

Hello.
As far as I can tell, I've deployed an Application Gateway in the UK South region using Availability Zones, yet the advisor is suggesting otherwise:

Am I missing something? It clearly says in two places that I have deployed to zones 1, 2 and 3. I deployed using Bicep with the following :
zones: [ '1' '2' '3' ]
Thanks in advance!

Hi guys. I'm PoCing and looking into licensing implications of using Power BI Embedded (gen 2?) with a SaaS app we host for customers in Azure. We also host their database so all data consumed by Power BI is already with us. Does anyone know what licensing options we have, please? I think there's a consumption based enterprise tier that may apply to us, along with per-user licensing.. Just not sure what we'll need if we host the app and data. Auth is via Okta.. either federated or non-fedeeated. Can anyone shed some light on this, please? Thanks!

Hi Everyone, I’m new to the microsoft training days, it’s actually my first time that I’m about to attend, is it okay to attend using my mobile phone instead of laptop/pc ?, I’m asking this because i want to get the exam discount(50%) by attending the event and I’m worried if microsoft don’t count attendance if mobile phones used, thanks

I have a domain controller, file server and dhcp onsite. All are physical boxes. I am going to move them the DC and file servers to Azure. I am thinking of leaving the DHCP server on prem obviously. But what does this procedure look like? Sorry we are all small business with only 40 odd employees and I manage the computing myself.

Hello,
Im working on Transferring data from AppInsights to a Lakehouse in a Fabric Capacity on daily bases.
I want to know what is the best way to do it.
The solution I can think of is:
Consume the AppInsights API in a DataPipeline or DataFlow in Fabric that exports to a lakehouse.
My Problem is that data is so huge that it exceeds the limits of what the API can handle, and I want to avoid backing up the data on many times of the day. I want to do it only once a day.
I would appreciate if you can help me with this.

First of all I am sorry if the topic of my discussion isn't coresponding to the subreddit,if that is the case I'll delete my post.,I am writing this post because I am looking for some advice.I want to start a career in it tech from scratch and I wanted to ask if my approach is good/decent. Unfortunately at the moment I am not able to spend money on courses so I would want to start with Professor Messer.I want to watch his full videos on 220-1101 A+ then 220-1102 A+, Net + and then Sec +.Afterwards the ,,field'' (if that's the correct term) I would like to get into is cloud, more specifically A ..read more

Hello,
Im curious about situation - i was working with logic app in Azure and set Concurrency control… But now I dont think its good option for me, sadly only way to turn it off is delete afctual logic app and make new. But im little confused about pricing - when i make new Azure Logic App, it will instantly takze charge about “Storage” and “CPU” use? Does it mean this mistake cost money? Or its safe to delete and make new without any new fee.
Thank you for response.
