I love the weekend in SL. Not for just the billion amazing sales, but the whole vibe is different. Maybe that’s just me thinking that. But I have noticed that people talk a little more on the weekends. Like I was out shopping, and a woman messaged me to tell me she liked my eyes, and then told me I look sweet. I’m not sure what it is, but I never seem to get tired of doing “darker” photos in Second Life. I’m not quite like that at all. I’m more Enid Sinclair than Wednesday Addams in my day to day life. More kittens and bunnies, less snakes and ravens. My RL oldest sister was what probably would be considered ethergoth. You know, all lace and ethereal music and morbid poetry. It has been a total day so far. I woke up to a computer that would not turn on. And of course, immediately I panicked because that’s what you do when your computer won’t turn on. Plus, my throat is sore and I have chills. Getting sick right now is not an option. But I guess my body feels like it is? Rude. But it turns out that a cat stepped on the off button of my power strip, and if I do have a cold, it’s not really the worst time to get one. I’m a really big introvert. People who know me well know that about me. I need alone time like I need a heartbeat. I love time to myself. Always have, always will, no apologies. I really love all kinds of colors. If you asked me my favorite color, I’d tell you 3, but I have more. Typically, I love pastels, but jewel tones and vivid colors also speak to me. I wear a lot of colors, both in my online and offline life. In a world full of colors, why would I only wear black, you know? Decorating is a little different for me. I really enjoy doing photos that make me seem a little different than I actually am. Like take today’s photo, for example. I’m not really a “sexy” person. I don’t typically run around SL in sky high platform heels and shiny skimpy outfits. But I think that’s what makes it so fun! Because maybe there is a little bit of *that* girl in me. One of the things that makes me happy since coming back to SL is finding that so many of my faves are still here and still making magic in their stores. I absolutely loved Enfant Terrible back a few years ago. I never blogged them much, which is weird when I think about it.
