I have to be honest. I never imagined that my makeup life and Huda Beauty would ever cross paths. I have dabbled in her mini eyeshadow palettes in the past. I own the Lilac Obsessions and Mint Obsessions palettes, and I think they’re great! But that’s where I thought Huda and my makeup lives met and parted. Basements. They’re cold, they’re dark, they’re dank. If you don’t have an attic, the ghosts in your house are definitely congregating in the basement. Also, spiders. And house centipedes. I say all this to illustrate my belief that making a warm, cozy, inviting basement space is no easy feat. Why hello there. Long time no see. After not getting on an airplane for three years (the longest I’ve gone without travelling since I was probably 18), I was determined to get back into it in 2022. And get back into it we did! We’ve been on three trips in the past 6 months with our two kids, aged 7 months and 3.5 years, and I feel like I’ve learned a lot about what travelling with young kids is like and certain things you may want to consider if you’re also thinking about travelling with young tots.
