Someone will need to make me take off this skin because I just can’t do it willingly. I did change my head (again) and tried it in a lighter tone with different eye makeup. I’ve been trying to get my arms around a severe case of inventory swell, exacerbated by too much shopping and little blogging. In my frenzy to organize and prioritize, I frequently find pieces I bought and then immediately buried in the next deluge. As I was styling one of my favorite picks from Skin Fair 2024, I desperately needed an over-the-shoulder coat for the look I was going for … which apparently turned out to be kind of Sherlock Holmes chic lol. I spent last week in NYC again – in long meetings at my (new job) company’s headquarters. Less than one block away is an old church that used to be an pretty famous spot for “club kids” of the 80s and 90s. Google Limelight if you haven’t heard of it. It’s now a gym, I believe. I wasn’t a club kid (my parents were relaxed but not that relaxed), but Limelight was the first NYC club I went to long before I would have been officially welcome at the 18+ establishment.
