They're fixed and I'm hoping we're out of the woods and we can resume with our regular weekly chats, yay! Today I wanted to put the unsung colour of the season under the spotlight as I have been LOVING wearing it recently. Icy blue seems to have come out of nowhere and taken my wardrobe by storm. It's such a beautiful shade to play aroun ..read more

THANK GOODNESS I DIDN’T SELL THIS

When I tell you I am grateful to Megan of the past for keeping hold of this skirt, boy oh boy am I! This piece has only been worn three times, during it's 5 years in my wardrobe. This would usually result in a firm, yet hypothetical, "MUST SELL" label imprinted to it. However, something was holding me back. It's almost as if I KNEW that this skirt would come into it's own, almost too good to pass on, one of those keep it or regret it pieces, we all have them right!? I'm even more grateful to myself for not selling as I've been really enjoying the whole kilt trend that has been around for ..read more

Coat- & Other Stories, Jumper- Zara, Sunglasses- Le Specs, Tracksuit bottoms- Adidas x Wales Bonner, Trainers- Adidas, Bag- M&S Hello, I'm back from Copenhagen and having spent a long glorious weekend at home, catching up on washing and of course cuddling the heck out of Goldie and Gene, I've just spent a solid full two days sat at my laptop, minus tea breaks and the necessary "squeeze Gene's thighs" break. But heck, this is probably my most productive laptop week this year and it feels DAMN good. I've managed to tick off ~almost~ everything off my to-do list and I am buzzing ..read more

Goodness me, it's been a while hasn't it! HI, HELLO, HOWDY, IYAAAAA! How the heck are ya? I hope you had a gorgeous Christmas and of course, Happy New Year to you all! It really feels like Christmas was a million years ago already, don't you think? We had the most amazing couple of weeks together as a family and as Goldie, who is almost three, really understood the whole thing, it was more magical than ever before. Trying to explain where the tree has gone, why she can't have advent calendar chocolate each morning and why she no longer sees Santa and sparkles (fairy lights) everywhere, howe ..read more

DIFFERENCES IN MY PREGNANCIES

Hello, hello! Wow, it's been a hot minute hasn't it. Crikey! Life is certainly full on right now, in a good but weird kinda way. I'm here with a slightly more personal post today, a post I've wanted to pen down for the last couple of months or so. Basically, throughout this pregnancy I've been asked how it fairs in comparison to my pregnancy with Goldie, which was over 2 years ago (wow!) I've always been quick to say how similar they've been, which in part is true. It was only when my sister pointed out how hard this one has been in comparison that I realised just how right she is. I think ..read more

Earlier this month you may have seen that George and I were lucky enough to escape the Mancunian cold and swap it for the start of the Moroccan summertime. We headed to Marrakech for 4 nights at The Royal Palm Fairmont Hotel for a little baby moon. Its not long now until baby boy arrives and we become a family of 4 and whilst I am the most excited I have ever been to experience that newborn bubble once again, I just know how hectic things are about to get, so a little break away just George and I was exactly what we needed. I needed to rest to be honest. My body is sore this time around and ..read more

SMALL GOALS FOR 2023

If you've been reading my blog for any amount of time you'll know that I'm a stickler for setting goals. I've never really been one for the whole New Years Resolutions I must admit, more a seasonal goals kinda gal. However, there's something about this New Year that has really got me in a chokehold. I'm writing one year AND FIVE YEAR goals, I'm plotting, planning and striving for those wishes, those dreams and those goals that can often feel a lil out of reach. But if you don't write em down and give them the attention they deserve then how are they ever supposed to become your reality? S ..read more

Hello, hello and Happy New Year! It's my first day back at work today and I am feeling SO very excited to be back to it. I feel SO refreshed after a lovely, long 10 days off for Christmas and had a strong case of the excitables last night as I planned my outfit and packed my bag for my first day back at it. I've really caught that new year, new(ish) me vibe this year and I am LOVING the energy that it's providing me with. How are you? How was your Christmas? I would love to hear all about it in the comments along with anything you'd like to see from me this year? It's always useful to hear ..read more

THE PRINCESS DRESS OF DREAMS

Just a quick one from me today as this week is BEYOND CHAOTIC! In fact, life, lately, is hella chaotic, as I'm sure it is for many of you too. Work is always busy at this time of year similarly to social lives, so throw in an almost-two-year old and an aching heart that wants to spend every moment of every day with her (mine) and it often feels like I am about to self combust. But, I must admit that I do LOVE my work SO SO much, I love what I do, I love being busy and I LOVE being a mama so so much, so I really can't complain! But find me KO'd when the weekend rolls a ..read more

BLANCA MIRO X RESERVED

Last Friday I was lucky enough to be invited to the launch party of the Blanca Miro x Reserved collection. I have admired Blanca Miro and her weird and wonderful eye for detail, colour and prints for soooo many years that it truly was such an honour to be able to celebrate her incredible collection with her IRL. The collection, as expected, is simply spectacular with every single piece designed to perfection with Miro's personal style at the heart. A collection inspired by Miro's dream vintage wardrobe, the pieces she wishes to find pre-loved but has never managed to do so. She has totally ..read more
