Munashraf Munawar, who owns pet medical company BioVet Medical Malaysia (BioVet), made his fortune by selling cat food and vitamins.
According to the New Straits Times, BioVet is now worth RM26 million (S$7.4 million) and has approximately 200 employees.

The daughter of a nickel-and-steel tycoon from China has purchased a Good Class Bungalow (GCB) at Bin Tong Park for S$84 million.
According to Bloomberg, Xiang Yangyang is the daughter of Xiang Guangda, the founder of Tsingshan Holding Group.
Tsingshan is the world's largest producer of nickel and stainless steel.
The Business Times reported that Xiang Yangyang and her mother, He Xiuqin, are based in Singapore and hold citizenship as well.
Neither Xiang Yangyang nor Tsingshan responded to media requests for comments on the purchase.

The Northern Lights, or aurora borealis, which is frequently seen in Norway, Iceland and Finland, is coming to Gardens By The Bay in Singapore.

The new light installation, Borealis, will make its debut at Gardens By The Bay on May 5, and is open to visitors for free.
It will run from 9pm to 9:30pm every Saturday and Sunday, and from 8pm to 8:30pm on Mondays.

An athlete from Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) (ACS(I)) achieved a hard-fought victory in his footrace.
After the race, he bowed to supporters in the stands, but later ended up shoving his Hwa Chong Institution (HCI) rival.
The shove appears to have been brought on by an elbowing incident between the two runners during the A Division Boys' 1,500m event at the National School Games - Track & Field Championships, on Apr. 19.

On Apr. 24, 2024, United States (U.S.) President Joe Biden signed the TikTok sell-or-ban bill into law.
This means TikTok's Chinese parent company ByteDance has nine months to sell the social media platform, or face a nationwide ban of the app in the U.S..

Ma Liqian, the wife of Sea co-founder and billionaire Forrest Li, is buying a S$42.5 million mansion at Gallop Road, reported Bloomberg on Apr. 22.
The good class bungalow (GCB) sits on a 1,552 sq m plot of land and is adjacent to a 1,403 sq m bungalow that Li bought in 2018.
Li paid S$26 million for the bungalow.
