Before becoming a patient I never knew what a clinical trial was, except for maybe seeing how drug trials go horribly horribly wrong in scary movies. Well they're not all going to turn us into zombies hungry for brains. Some of these clinical drug trials are saving lives. Maybe I watched too many X-Files and Outerlimits episodes when growing up.
