I am Nancy Stoddart.  I am a wife and mother to five beautiful children.  My household is busy with trumpet concerts, ballets, piano lessons, soccer games and bowling competitions for her children.  I am an animal lover who grew up with cats as members of the household for as long as I can remember.    My house reflects that with our three cats and three dogs.  Our three cats Koda, Scratch and Georgie, were rescued as sick animals from Kansas and Missouri where we were visiting friends and family. Meet our February 2024 Kitty of the Month…..Valmont! Meow! My name is Valmont. I am a super lovable DMH orange tabby male. My estimated DOB is 2/19/20 am very sweet, and I can’t wait to flop over for belly rubs.  I love to play especially with the cat catcher mouse. The wand toys with feathers are also a favorite, and I like to catch the wand toy and walk away with my prize. We’re the Tompkins family, John, Jelena, and Maelle. Mom, Jelena, saw a Wild Blue Facebook post in the spring looking for new volunteers and saw that the minimum age to volunteer was 12, the age Maelle had just turned.  She thought it would be a great opportunity for Maelle to learn about volunteering since the whole family loves cats and adopted a kitten from Wild Blue back in the summer of 2020. It’s Saturday Cat-A-Day- It’s a Catapalooza! What a cat-tas-tic day to adopt a Tuxedo or Black kitty! Meet the Vent House Kitties. In Sept 2023 Wild Blue Cats TNR team was contacted by a man who had lost his home and the bank was trying to get the property ready for auction. The gentleman had kitties living in the house and the bank needed them removed. We went out to assess the situation. I am a senior DSH white female with grey spots and grey tail. My original owner relinquished me to Wild Blue due to economic change and loss of job and couldn’t take me to their new living quarters. Cat-A-Day- Day Eight- it’s a two cat day!- Featuring Taus and Gravity. Taus is 8 months old and he was born with a birth defect similar to spina bifida. His lower back and tail are paralyzed. You would never know that he has any sort of condition because nothing slows him down. Recently his foster mom filmed him coming down the stairs with no issues. She also found him on top of a HUGE bean bag chair. Taus is so funny and he has so much upper body strength that he can do anything he sets his mind to.
