Is the movie better than the book? I’ve listened to Dune by Frank Herbert, and I’ve now seen Dune, part 1 and Dune, part 2. And, frankly, I’m conflicted. TLDR: The movies are geared to a younger audience than the book and, while they lack the nuance and layers of the book, also minimize some of the problematic elements of the book.
