Toronto Cat Rescue

On January 1, 2022, Toronto Cat Rescue will be raising adoption fees. Over the last few years, veterinary bills have increased exponentially. Our current fee structure is well below industry average. The fee has not changed in over a decade to adjust for inflation. TCR is the last hope for seniors and other high-needs, expensive medical cases. Our adoption fee increase will help mitigate the costs and ensure we continue to save over 2500 precious lives each year. ADOPTION FEES EFFECTIVE JAN 1, 2022 ..read more

Easy for You, More Predictable for Us. Easton is a gorgeous tabby boy that came to us after being being rescued off the side of the road by Animal Control in the Kitchener-Waterloo area. Sadly, Easton had been previously hit by a car and sustained multiple injuries. He recovered from the original accident, but not known at the time scar tissue was building up, causing him enormous amounts of pain. We needed to amputate his leg and unfortunately we also discovered a large mass pressing down on his bladder. The removal was going to be very tricky, as there were several adhesions on both the lef ..read more

Wow! I continue to be unbelievably grateful for our supporters! Thanks to the generous donations to Toronto Cat Rescue on #GivingTuesday, 100 cats and kittens will have a second chance at a happy life. We were able to send word to our friends in Quebec yesterday and the first transport with 50 cats and kittens have just arrived in Toronto! Now that they are with us, we will ensure that they have all the medical attention, spay or neuter and vaccinations that they need. Without these donations, we would not be able to help these cats. We raised an absolutely incredible $65,000 with the help of ..read more

There are 100 homeless cats that are in desperate need of our help nearly 1,000 km away.  Cats and kittens of all ages lost or abandoned in rural Quebec, are waiting at a shelter for their furrever home. Let's get them to Toronto to get all the care they need.  This shelter does it’s very best for these cats but with very few adopters in this area, these cat’s lives are at risk if we don’t take them in before Christmas. They simply can not keep up with the demand, meaning they will need to make some difficult decisions if we are unable to lessen their burden. DONATE TODAY : https ..read more
