This Victoria engagement session with Maddy and Ray has my heart!   I had the best time getting to know these two before their wedding this coming August.  These two met in law school and fell in love – it’s like something out a romantic movie! Maddy knew Ray was the one when they got their puppy and she watched him because the sweetest dog Dad ever.  Ray proposed to her on a beach in Tofino and the rest is history!   They are having a quaint backyard wedding coming up reallll soon and I just know it’s going to be epic. L&C came to Vancouver Island to elope on the beach where they got engaged.  They brought only their nearest and dearest and it was such a beautiful elopement ceremony.  I don’t think there was a dry eye when the vows were read!   Along for the day was their beloved dog Nigel, who stole the show in the most adorable dog wedding attire – beyond cute.  After a beautiful elopement ceremony and some family photos, L danced with her father to their favourite Led Zeppelin track that they used to dance around the living room to when she was a kid.  These moments are the mo ..read more

I have got to say that hands down my favourite part of this photography gig is all the adventures that it has brought me on.  Alex and Amber were married a few years back (you can see their wedding photography gallery here) so when Amber contacted me saying they were expecting and wanted me to do their photos I was obviously so excited!   We met at this gorgeous PNW lake that I had never been to before.  It was absolutely stunning and made me feel so inspired.  The forest was just as jaw dropping and it definitely had Twilight vibes going on. The George family came out for mini session day in Victoria last October.  There’s nothing I love more than meeting new families who I hope will be lifelong clients!  I definitely felt this way with these four!   They just have the sweetest dynamic and these girls are so dang adorable.   We had a lot of fun playing in the field and captured lots of laughs and sweet moments between kiddos and parents. I’m stoked to share some images from this gorgeous Island View Beach Engagement session!  This was my first time meeting Josh and Clara since they live in the mainland and I was pleasantly surprised!  These two have the sweetest, most down to earth energy going and we really hit it off.  I loved documenting them so much!  They have a natural goofy yet very sweet kind of love.
