I think I have just added a new entry to my list of favourite London wedding venues – the Mildmay Club.  What a great space for a party… a historic working men’s club with a retro feel and Wes Anderson vibe. Claire and Thom are a fun and easy-going Canadian couple who had already tied the knot in their home country but wanted a celebration with their London friends. And what a celebration it was! After meeting Claire and Thom in their flat around the corner from the Mildmay Club, we took some informal couple portraits in their neighbourhood, making the most of the pretty streets and the ..read more

It’s time for me to share Daisy and Josh’s Clapton Country Club wedding –a day filled with beautiful moments, lots of laugher and whole lot of style. Daisy and Josh tied the knot in the airy atrium at Hackney Town Hall. With its exposed brick walls and a glass ceiling allowing soft, natural light to flood the space, it was the perfect backdrop.  Daisy wore a short, elegant and beautifully embroidered wedding dress that was designed by her amazingly talented sister, Philippa of Lovelong Bridal. Daisy, her Dad and her bridesmaid’s danced down the aisle to whoops and cheers from the crowd ..read more

Last summer, I had the honour of capturing Izzy and Simon’s Marylebone wedding – with a ceremony at the iconic Old Marylebone Town Hall and a fabulous reception at The Italian Greyhound restaurant. The timeless backdrop of the Old Marylebone Town Hall is a London favourite of mine and what made it extra special was the presence of Izzy and Simon’s canine companion who watched the ceremony with a wagging tail, and gave a bark of approval when Izzy and Simon tied the knot. Following the ceremony, the celebrations continued at the delightful Italian Greyhound restaurant. This Marylebone gem, kno ..read more

Herne Tavern Wedding – Jane + Ben

Jane and Ben’s Herne Tavern wedding took me to the delightful East Dulwich for a fun and relaxed celebration. Pub weddings are one of my favourites! But first things first… Jane got ready with her family and besties at the couple’s charming flat in South East London. We seem to have similar tastes when it comes to interior decorations (as well as books) – I spotted quite a few of my soft furnishings and reading materials in between taking pictures. Ben together with close friends and family were waiting for Jane’s arrival outside Southwark Registry Office. The last wedding I photographed here ..read more

2021 Wedding Round-up (and a little of the crazy 2020)

Here are some of my favourite photographs from last year – and a few from the year before 2021 was the year where weddings slowly returned to normally. We moved away from parents having to peak through registry office windows to catch a glimpse of their children getting married and towards weddings with dancing and hugging. Many couples finally got to tie the knot after postponing many times over. We still had to deal with masks, limited number of guests and edge of your seat tension to see whether a test result might mean another cancellation of plans. But we are getting there! Congratulatio ..read more

This is Chelsea Town Hall wedding is one of a handful of weddings I photographed during 2020 when we were still in the middle of the Pandemic and weddings were small and intimate, with only limited number of guests allowed. Zoe and Tayo made the most of the situation with a beautiful ceremony at the stunning Chelsea Town Hall, followed by a fun walk to the Bluebird on Kings Road, and a meal with their nearest and dearest. If you are planning a Chelsea Town Hall wedding and are looking for a documentary wedding photographer, check my availability here. I would love to work with you. The post ..read more

I’m very excited to share this beauty of a West London wedding with you. Sarah and Brian got married at the stunning St Mary’s Church in Battersea, right next to the river Thames. It was such a a great day – a gorgeous London setting, a sunny day and a very lovely couple. I think you can tell from the pictures how into each other these two are. We made the most of the iconic Albert Bridge for couple photos before heading to the Prince Albert pub for a relaxed and easy going wedding reception with lots of laughter, cheer and some excellent speeches. Sarah and Brian – thank you so much for lett ..read more

Jody + Rafi’s Stephens House and Gardens Wedding

Jody and Rafi’s wedding at St Stephens House and Gardens was the first wedding I photographed during the pandemic. After along break from shooting, I made my way to East Finchley (which is just around the corner from me) last August and got back into the saddle. It felt so good to be holding a camera again – and to be surrounded by lots of smiley happy people. A few things were different – like wearing a mask, not being able to hug and congratulate the couple, constantly applying hand sanitiser to keep people safe – but overall it didn’t feel that different. It is a real honour to be a part o ..read more
