Amazing numbers on this third parkrun of April 2024, with 967 Vegan Runners attending 405 different parkrun events. 902 of us gained a finish token and we had over 65 wonderful volunteers.    We held thirty-three meetups across the UK with five or more club members, the largest of which was again held at Eastville parkrun, where thirty-three VRs got together. Another wonderful week for Vegan Runners! The sun presided over the majority of parkrun events in the UK on this second parkrun of April 2024, which saw 941 members attending 416 events. 871 VRs gained a finish token and we had over 70 wonderful volunteers.   Meet-ups a-plenty were organised and held at thirty-four different venues for groups of five and above.  With Storm Kathleen rampaging across the UK on this first parkrun of April, plus three big Sunday running events contending with parkrun attendance, we still had a healthy turnout with 899 Vegan Runners participating in 384 different parkrun events. 839 VRs gained a finish token and we had over 45 wonderful volunteers.    Many marvellous meetups to choose from as usual – thank you to Dan Stent-Clements for this week’s wonderful photo from the largest gathering at Brighton & Hove parkrun, where 22 VRs appeared in the results.    Other large numbers of Vegan Runners ..read more

 On this last parkrun of March 2024, a marvellous 958 VRs managed to attend 420 different parkrun events. 891 of us gained a finish token and we had over 67 wonderful volunteers. 228 Vegan Runners succeeded in setting a new Personal Best for 2024!     It’s so exciting to watch our new parkrun facebook community grow and flourish, photos of your adventures and achievements bring the group to life in such a positive and inspirational way. Magnificent attendance again on this third week of March 2024 with 920 VRs attending 391 different parkrun events. 848 gained a finish token and we had over 72 wonderful volunteers.  There was plenty to celebrate this Mothers’ Day weekend with incredible attendance numbers – we’ll soon hit that thousand mark! Our first parkrun of March 2024 saw 804 Vegan Runners attending 353 events, despite 182 cancellations. 739 of us earned a finish token and we filled over 65 volunteering roles. 161 of you achieved a new Personal Best for 2024 – that’s incredible!    Marvellous meetups took place this week at 156 parkrun events – thank you to Joseph Baxter for this week’s wonderful photo from the most popular muddy meetup at Forest Rec parkrun, where 21 VRs convened. What a difference the weather makes! With floods and freezing conditions a-plenty across the UK there were over 100 cancellations. We still had awesome attendance and representation with 839 Vegan Runners attending 324 different parkrun events. 783 gained a finish token and we had over 56 wonderful volunteers.    Meetups were as abundant as the cancellations on this last parkrun of February with an incredible 34 VRs repping at Chipping Sodbury – an awesome turnout.
