Bar Hill I’m primarily a gin drinker, but I’ve recently fallen in love with Bar Hill gin and see they have a vodka. Im tempted to try, but it’s not the cheapest. $50 I believe? For reference, I get awful headaches from Tito’s.. and other similar vodka. Perhaps it’s the potato in it? Has anyone that is sensitive to alcohol had good luck with Bar Hill vodka? Corn vodka anybody? I tried all major grain and potato vodkas, Russian standard, Sobieski, Tito’s, Zubrowka, Luksusowa, etc, the only grain that I like my vodka base on is corn, Rye, wheat or potatoes simply don’t work for me, yes they all can taste smooth and stuff but they don’t have a very unique flavor only corn based vodka has, idk how to describe it. Corn vodka also has a sharp and crispy mouthfeel to it and it makes it 10 times better, vodka doesn’t have much flavor already and having little mouth feel like the wheat vodka makes it disgusting. I went on a cruise in 2024 and order a cocktail with Grey Goose. The employee, who was not from the US (I am) recommended another vodka he said was smoother and less expensive. I really enjoyed it and bought a bottle when I got home, but it was somewhat challenging to find. I think I visited a few liquor stores before doing so (I live in the Indianapolis, Indiana area).
