Dusty May and his staff received a high school commitment today from three-star guard Lorenzo “LJ” Cason. Joe Tipton broke the news. Cason was a former Florida Atlantic commitment who was released from his letter of intent after May took the Michigan job. Cason took visits to Florida and Michigan before committing to the Wolverines. Cason is a 6-foot-3 point guard from Lakeland Victory Christian who quickly emerged as one of the top guards in Florida this season. Michigan added a transfer commitment from 6-foot-4 Ohio State guard Roddy Gayle Jr. today. Joe Tipton broke the news. Gayle averaged 13.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game for the Buckeyes last season and will cross rivalry lines to head to Ann Arbor. Auburn point guard Tre Donaldson announced his commitment to Michigan today. Donaldson is a 6-foot-3 guard who just completed his sophomore season for the Tigers. He averaged 6.7 points, 3.2 assists and 2.4 rebounds in 19.2 minutes per game while splitting time in a platoon point guard system. New Michigan head coach Dusty May landed another transfer today when Yale big man Danny Wolf announced his commitment to Michigan. ESPN’s Adam Schefter . Wolf is the third commitment this offseason for Michigan and should immediately bolster a frontcourt that is lacking bodies.
