I wanted to make something special. Last season was incredible on so many levels, so it took me a minute to figure out what to do and how to do it. Those who follow me know I do the STAT-O every week during the season, so this poster is sort of a special take on that.  Any championship run is the columniation of every game played. Michigan's undefeated season was historic. This design is meant to reflect that. It's been over a week since Michigan beat the Washington Huskies for the 2023 National Championship and I still don't know what I'm supposed to say. Where do I even start? Just start typing, I guess? How do you make sense of a Michigan team, our Michigan...going 15-0? We beat everyone. We beat Penn State and Ohio State without our head coach. We shut Iowa out in the Big Ten title game. We beat Alabama in overtime in the most glorious Rose Bowl you've ever seen. And then we beat Washington and their high-powered offense 34-13...which is now every Michigan fan's iPhone passcode. Holy hell, where to start? I've been covering Michigan football for a while here, and I've been a fan even longer. And just when I thought I'd seen it all, a week like this one comes along. You couldn't script this. College football is messy sometimes, but the 24 hours leading up to this game have to be close to, if not the nuttiest of all time.  I don't know where Sherron Moore's brief head coaching tenure will ultimately rank in Michigan lore, but holy f__k if it isn't damn near the top.
