I am a Mom, Stepmom and wife who by day also doubles as a Speech Language Pathologist in private practice. I started this blog because I want to document our journey as a family as we grow, change and continue to "blend" into our blended family. This is the place where I share the amazing adventures of raising my flowers and skids.

Christmas 2023
It all started clear another CDF year
It started with one of our New Yorker crew celebrating a birthday
Shortly after we had Josh celebrating too
In Ottawa and studying in the capital city
He finished year one sitting pretty
Soon he’d be in his new student house without dispute
Warding off any ill repute
Sam graduated the last to complete
He was through the gauntlet of high school so neat
Planning began for Sam’s somewhat late 16 trip ..read more

In September I had the opportunity of a life time!
Back in June when I went to California to spend 3 days with my Business Minded Mastermind group (the third time we met) with Jody Moore, Jody had asked me if I was going to the Life Coach School (LCS) Mastermind in Dallas. I said I was, and she said she wanted to nominate me to speak!

I’ll love you forever, I’ll like you for always, as long as I’m living, my baby you’ll be.
Do you know that book?
It was a popular one in our home when my boys were little.
Some of my best memories were of reading to them at night in my bed as part of our nightly routine – although now I realize it was almost a sacred ritual we were partaking in – the memories are so special.
But Not the Hippopotamus. Barnyard Dance. Good Night Moon.
And of course, I’ll love you forever.
Because that’s what mamas do with their babies.
And every year on my babies birthdays, there is a ..read more
