I hope some find this interesting. Although it was incredibly tedious and time consuming to make I had blast creating it. I dread to think of the amount of hours I’ve sat staring at the pgf now. Clicking back and forward frame by frame for hours on end… Obviously this is a divisive subject but I feel this was a worthwhile endeavour to undertake.

Everyone here probably recognizes the name of Gardner Soule, a prolific writer about science, nature, technology, and yes--cryptozoology--topics. Many of his books outside "The Maybe Monsters," "The Mystery Monsters," and "Trail of the Abominable Snowman" contain little featurettes of cryptozoology in them.
I am currently reading "The Ocean Adventure: Science explores the depths of the sea" by Gardner Soule (Appleton-Century publishers, 1966). In the chapter "What the Deepest Trawl Haul Caught," I saw this story.

This is the original Cibachrome frame 350 from the Patterson Gimlin Film before any enhancements were made. You can compare it to any later reproductions or enhancements to see if any details are indeed present in the original print or artificially added.
