Gardaí have issued an appeal for help to find Inishowen teen, Steven Boyle, from Magherabeg. Steven, aged 15, was last seen on Wednesday, April 17th, 2024. He is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall, with a medium build, brown hair, and blue eyes. When last seen he was last seen wearing a grey tracksuit and red body warmer. A Donegal woman whose family has been devastated by the Israeli invasion of Gaza has set a fundraising challenge to help her loved ones. Josephine Gallagher Hajjaj, a Letterkenny-based primary school teacher, is married to Munther Hajjaj, a Palestinian national living in Ireland. The couple met in Abu Dhabi and moved to Donegal, where they had three children. Woman in court after €2,300 theft spree

A woman has appeared in court in Donegal over the theft of almost €2,300 worth of items in a series of incidents across the north west. Jennifer Ward was before Ballyshannon District Court this week. Ward, a 31-year-old of Traenmore, Mohill, County Leitrim, was charged in connection with 15 different incidents of theft. Dating from February 2022 until January 2024, the offences relate to items worth a combined €2,298.68. Tragic AJ returns home for final rest in Inishowen

Popular young Buncrana man AJ Doyle, who lost his life in a tragic collision in Australia, is to be laid to rest at home this Saturday. Thirty-year-old AJ, who was living and working in Perth, died in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash on Easter Sunday. The Kevin Bell Reparation Trust has been assisting AJ’s family in making his final journey to Donegal this week. An online fundraiser in honour of AJ also raised $160,774  (€97,000). Finn Harps are launching a fundraising strategy they say will secure the club’s future and complete its long awaited move to the new stadium in Stranorlar.
