We are often asked to recommend a boat tour of the archipelago. It should give a good insight, be fun and not be overly long. Those who make a Stockholm mini-trip over the weekend or a short visit during their Swedish vacation, after all, are usually not looking for an extensive day trip. We can recommend you a boat tour that is two and a half hours long and, depending on the departure time and the option chosen, also offers refreshments. The tour is not even expensive. It is the most frequently booked with us, and the customer reviews are very positive. The ships used on the archipelago tour ..read more

Difficult to decide if you want to go sightseeing by bus or by boat? Well, in Stockholm you can do both – simultaneously. A so-called Ocean Bus takes you around the city in a unique way that lets you experience Stockholm from both land and water. The Ocean Bus is an amphibious bus. When the bus did its first test drives, some people reportedly called the emergency number 112 and notified the rescue services of a bus that had fallen into the water. Now the Stockholmers have become accustomed to the new vehicle. The tour takes 75 minutes, starts at the Djurgårdsbron (the bridge entering the isla ..read more

The exhibition “Ingrid Vang Nyman – Much more than Pippi Longstocking” was opened at the Gothenburg Museum of Art in mid-October. The exhibition can be seen until February 21, 2021. The native Dane Ingrid Vang Nyman (1916 – 1959) was a children’s book illustrator. Her drawings for Astrid Lindgren’s “Pippi Longstocking” novels became her breakthrough. The books were a revolution not only contentwise but also optically: Until then, children in books had always been clean, neatly dressed and smiling. Nyman, on the other hand, painted grimaces, holes in pants, dirt stains and clutter. The str ..read more
